Your Role: Key Responsibilities

  • Support senior attorneys in handling creditors' rights litigation and related matters
  • Draft pleadings, motions, legal correspondence, and discovery documents
  • Appear in court on routine matters and assist with trial preparation
  • Conduct legal research and stay current with applicable statutes and case law
  • Review case files and assist in developing case strategy
  • Maintain case management systems and ensure accuracy of legal documentation
  • Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel under supervision
  • Collaborate with legal staff to meet deadlines and court requirements

Qualifications

  • Active Oregon Bar license required; active Washington Bar license preferred.
  • 1 or more years of civil litigation or creditors' rights experience, including recent graduates
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Eagerness to learn, grow, and work collaboratively
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; comfort with legal tech systems (Cogent experience is a plus)
  • Occasional travel for court appearances as needed

Requirement

  • Ability to pass a background and drug test
