Job description

  • The Associate Applications Engineer, is responsible for assisting in the tasks of providing customer product application assistance, technical support, proposal drawings, special designs or modifications to existing products via phone or email including inside/outside sales and customer service.
  • S/he works in conjunction with Application Engineers to provide customer assistance for product applications.
  • For orders received, s/he would be responsible for supporting customer design reviews, creating and releasing designs to manufacturing and final product documentation under the guidance of an Applications Engineer.
  • S/he possesses lower-level CAD experience and is on a path to complete proficiency.
Requirements
  • Requires 2-4 years of design or technical support experience in the field or in a related area with mechanical/electrical design, industrial automation and assembly experience.
  • Familiarity with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the engineering field such as: APQP, FMEA, FEA, and 8D problem solving.
  • Working knowledge of design software Solid Works, Catia or NX.
  • Associate or bachelorโ€™s degree in engineering preferred but not required.
