Position Overview

As a Cybersecurity Analyst I, you'll play a key role in safeguarding Nature's Sunshine's digital assets, systems, and data. You will help monitor, detect, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity threats while supporting security initiatives across our global technology environment.

Working closely with IT teams, business stakeholders, and external partners, you'll contribute to maintaining a strong security posture through proactive monitoring, risk assessment, vulnerability management, incident response, and security awareness efforts.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, continuous learning, and staying ahead of emerging cybersecurity threats while helping protect a global organization.

What You'll Do

  • Monitor Security Operations: Monitor security tools and platforms, including SIEM, endpoint protection, email security, and cloud security solutions to identify and respond to potential threats.
  • Investigate & Respond to Incidents: Analyze security alerts, investigate suspicious activity, and participate in incident response efforts to contain, remediate, and document security events.
  • Support Vulnerability Management: Assist with vulnerability assessments, security scans, risk analysis, and remediation efforts across infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments.
  • Strengthen Security Controls: Help implement, maintain, and improve security policies, standards, procedures, and technical controls that protect company assets and data.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with infrastructure, networking, application, and business teams to support secure technology solutions and promote security best practices.
  • Contribute to Security Awareness: Support employee security awareness initiatives, training programs, and phishing simulation efforts that help strengthen the organization's security culture.
  • Stay Ahead of Emerging Threats: Research current cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends to help improve detection capabilities and security strategies.

What You'll Bring

  • Security Knowledge: Understanding of cybersecurity principles including threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, identity and access management, network security, and cloud security.

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 2–5 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, systems administration, network administration, or a related IT security role.

Technical Experience

  • Experience with security monitoring tools, endpoint protection platforms, vulnerability management solutions, and security incident response processes.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 security technologies, cloud security concepts, and enterprise security best practices.

Certifications

  • Security+, CySA+, GSEC, SSCP, CISSP Associate, or similar cybersecurity certifications preferred.

Flexibility

  • Willingness to occasionally participate in after-hours incident response, security investigations, or maintenance activities when needed.
