Job Summary

Accelyst is seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst Associate to support Agile delivery teams by coordinating production readiness, operational planning, and change management activities. This role works closely with Scrum Coaches, Product Owners, Engineering Teams, Infrastructure, and Change Management to ensure production deployments are thoroughly planned, compliant with organizational standards, and successfully executed.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in Agile environments, excellent organizational skills, and hands-on experience with Jira, ServiceNow, production readiness processes, and stakeholder coordination.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate end-to-end production readiness activities across multiple Agile delivery teams.
  • Create, manage, and maintain ServiceNow Change Requests, including Normal, Routine, and Break/Fix changes.
  • Ensure all required documentation, approvals, implementation plans, and rollback procedures are completed prior to Change Advisory Board (CAB) reviews.
  • Monitor change requests throughout the approval, implementation, and post-deployment lifecycle.
  • Coordinate production deployment schedules and readiness activities with cross-functional teams.
  • Create and maintain Jira Production Readiness and Brownfield Release Readiness stories.
  • Track completion of operational readiness tasks, including Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs), Operational Readiness (OPR), peer reviews, deployment checklists, and production evidence.
  • Maintain Jira backlog hygiene and ensure consistency across Agile teams.
  • Coordinate the collection, validation, and maintenance of Operational Readiness Assessment (ORAD) documentation.
  • Ensure all production readiness artifacts are complete, accurate, compliant, and audit-ready prior to deployment.
  • Identify documentation gaps and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues before implementation.
  • Serve as the primary coordination point between Scrum Coaches, Product Owners, Engineering Teams, Infrastructure, Change Managers, and L3 Support teams.
  • Support deployment planning meetings, readiness reviews, project status updates, and stakeholder communications.
  • Manage multiple concurrent initiatives while ensuring deadlines and deployment schedules are successfully met.
  • Monitor compliance with organizational change management and operational readiness standards.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and project documentation using Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools.
  • Support continuous process improvements related to release management, production readiness, and operational excellence.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor''s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • 2–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Delivery Analyst, Project Coordinator, or similar role.
  • Experience working within Agile or SAFe delivery environments.
  • Strong project coordination and organizational skills.
  • Experience managing multiple initiatives simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira and ServiceNow or similar project management and ITSM tools.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience coordinating production readiness, release management, or deployment activities.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting production deployments and release management activities.
  • Working knowledge of Change Management processes, including CAB reviews, approvals, implementation planning, and risk assessments.
  • Familiarity with Operational Readiness (OPR), Operational Readiness Assessment (ORAD), Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs), and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams including Engineering, Infrastructure, Product Management, and Operations.
  • Understanding of ITIL principles and enterprise change management best practices.
  • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise technology initiatives within Agile organizations.
