Job Description:

Participates in the design of detail parts, assemblies, and installations foraircraftstructures, mission equipment installations, and mechanical systems installations. Engineer applies basic engineering design and/or analytical theory with understanding of structural analysis for application to integrated system design. Engineers willbe responsible forresearch, development of layouts, preparation of engineering drawings, and coordination of design activities with Tooling, Flight Sciences, Manufacturing, and Production to ensure that designs meet requirements at minimum cost. Designs will beaccomplishedusing world-class, three-dimensional solid modeling CAD tools and work will beaccomplishedwith senior-level design engineers. Mechanical design engineershave the opportunity towork on a wide variety of tasks andaircraftsystems on variousaircraftplatforms.

Qualifications:

  • To be eligible, applicants mustbe pursuingabachelor'sdegreeMechanical/Aerospace/Aeronautical/Civil Engineeringor have completed theirbachelor'sdegree within the last 12months,regardlessof age.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland Ohio, and Vermont is [$59,000 - $110,000]. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
