IT Systems Engineer

As a systems engineer on our team, you'll have the chance to shape the development and upgrades of aerospace systems across multiple defense, civilian, and space domains by leading digital engineering and model-based systems engineering activities. You Have:

  • 5+years of experiencewith IT engineering and systems integration, including digital engineering toolintegrationsand exploration of AI/ML solutions to improve integration workflows
  • Experience with AI/ML platforms such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, or scikit-learn, to develop or deploy machine learning solutions for systems engineering or IT operations
  • Experience building, deploying,maintaining, andoptimizingAI-based applications
  • ExperiencewithbothLinux and Windows operating systems
  • Experience applying AI techniques to improve system performance, predictive analytics, or anomaly detection
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud ecosystems and cloud-based AI/ML services such as Amazon SageMaker, Azure ML, or Google AI Platform
  • Experience with networking and cybersecurity principles, including implementing AI-assisted threat detection and response mechanisms
  • Knowledge of AI-driven solutions in IT systems accreditation and compliance with SRG or STIG requirements
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, CS, or a STEM field

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience applying AI/ML techniques to requirements and architecture development across the systems development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Experience performing analysis studies using AI/ML in modeling and simulation environments such as predictive simulations or behavior analysis
  • Experience supporting aerospace systems engineering activities, incorporating AI-based methodologies for design optimization and predictive maintenance
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python, R, and Bash or PowerShell, for developing or automating AI processes
  • Knowledge of AI-based tools for exploring big data analytics and automation platforms that integrate AI capabilities such as Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, including in translating technical AI/ML concepts for various stakeholders
  • Master's degree in AI, ML, Engineering, or a related field
  • UML, SysML, and OMG Certified Systems Modelling Professional (OCSMP) Certification
  • Cloud+, AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Professional, Azure, or GCP Certification
  • CSEP or ASEP INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
