Fibertek, Inc. (www.fibertek.com) is a leading developer of laser and electro-optical systems for the aerospace community, supporting NASA, DoD, and commercial partners with advanced technologies for earth-sensing, laser communications, and lidar applications. We are seeking an Electrical Test Engineer to support the development of next-generation laser transmitter subsystems, lidar systems, and space-based communications platforms

In this role, you will design and execute test plans, perform detailed testing of electronic assemblies and circuit boards, and conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis to ensure high performance and reliability in critical applications. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement test plans and procedures for electronic assemblies in aerospace and defense systems Execute functional and diagnostic tests on PCBs, subassemblies, and integrated units Analyze test data to identify issues, confirm performance, and improve product quality Coordinate with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues Document test outcomes, deviations, and corrective measures clearly and accurately Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologiesExperience and Expertise Required: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, or a related field Minimum 2 years of experience Experience using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators Proficiency in reading schematics and interpreting technical documentation Strong problem-solving and communication skills Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality and test coverage Background in aerospace, defense, or other high-reliability environments Maintain meticulous records of test results, nonconformances, and corrective actions Drive continuous improvement in testing protocols, equipment, and best practices Preferred Requirements: Familiarity with space-qualified hardware, environmental testing, or flight systems Knowledge of IPC standards, ESD protocols, and electronics testing best practices Experience with automated test platforms or scripting test routinesExperience and Expertise Required: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, or a related field Minimum 2 years of experience Experience using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators Proficiency in reading schematics and interpreting technical documentation Strong problem-solving and communication skills Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality and test coverage Background in aerospace, defense, or other high-reliability environments Maintain meticulous records of test results, nonconformances, and corrective actions Drive continuous improvement in testing protocols, equipment, and best practices Preferred Requirements: Familiarity with space-qualified hardware, environmental testing, or flight systems Knowledge of IPC standards, ESD protocols, and electronics testing best practices Experience with automated test platforms or scripting test routines
