About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated System Administrator to join our IT Operations team at our Earth City, MO headquarters. This is a 100% on-premise position, ideal for a hands-on professional with strong system administration experience, particularly in on-site infrastructure and enterprise systems.

You'll play a key role in managing our internal systems, supporting users, and contributing to infrastructure and security initiatives. The right candidate will be comfortable in a dynamic environment with varied responsibilities-from server management to application support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain, monitor, and optimize physical and virtual server infrastructure (Windows/Linux).
  • Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and related core services.
  • Support and improve virtualization environments (VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Perform routine patching, backups, and system health monitoring.
  • Provide Tier 2/3 support for service desk escalations.
  • Create and maintain system documentation and SOPs.
  • Assist with endpoint management and software deployment.
  • Coordinate with security teams on vulnerability remediation and incident response.
  • Participate in after-hours upgrades, maintenance windows, and on-call rotations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in system administration roles in enterprise environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field,
    OR relevant certifications in lieu of a degree.

Preferred Certifications (One or more):

  • CompTIA Server+, Network+
  • Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
  • Cisco CCNA
  • VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
  • Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)

Technical Skills

Required:

  • Windows Server & Linux administration
  • Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V)
  • Networking fundamentals (VLANs, TCP/IP, Firewalls)
  • Backup and disaster recovery systems
  • Scripting (PowerShell, Bash)

Preferred/Bonus Experience With:

  • Appgate SDP (or similar ZTNA solutions)
  • Microsoft 365 administration
  • Azure AD Sync / Hybrid identity
  • ConnectWise Service Manager or other RMM platforms
  • Endpoint protection (SentinelOne)
  • Vulnerability management (Rapid7)
  • Cisco Umbrella
  • PAM tools like CyberArk or similar

Schedule

  • Monday-Friday, standard 8-hour shifts
  • Availability for occasional nights/weekends for after-hours support, upgrades, or project work
