Job description

LHH is working with a growing company in the food and beverage industry to identify a temporary to hire Accountant for their team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, have at least two years of accounting experience, and be able to contribute where needed. Since priorities change quickly at this company, the right candidate will be able to multitask and to handle a variety of responsibilities in the accounting department. This position is a fully in-office job in Bellevue, WA.
Main Duties:
  • Maintain accurate general ledger records and ensure proper transaction coding.
  • Prepare financial reports and assist with variance analysis and budgeting.
  • Perform bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as needed.
  • Assist with audits, tax filings, and compliance reporting.
  • Analyze expenses and help identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Collaborate with management to provide accurate financial information and support business decisions.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • At least two years of accounting experience.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
  • Experience with ERP or accounting software systems.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
