Rare and unique Sr. Accountant opportunity with a real estate start-up in Seattle, poised for massive growth. This Sr. Accountant role comes with a wide range of responsibilities, ideal for those excited by a start-up environment and a chance to build and design, automate processes. Manage land acquisition and development accounting, partnering with builders and accounting for fees, draws, takedowns, asset management for a number of active projects. Own intercompany accounting, eliminations, consolidations, reporting to parent global PE firm. Perform JV accounting, waterfalls, valuations, budget-to-actual, forecasting, and corporate financial reporting. Design, implement internal controls, automate processes utilizing systems, tools, and AI. Ideal for 5+ years, public accounting roots, real estate industry experience (development, construction, property management, M&A, or funds), and CPA โ€“ comfortable in a start-up environment.
