Job description

Join a dedicated team as we care for an intelligent and humorous man with Cerebral Palsy.


Be upbeat and agile to accomplish routines of: toileting, administering medication, completing oral care, transferring to bed, charting, & delivering grins! Healthcare/personal needs of the individual are extensive and we provide all person-specific training. Individual is quadriplegic and uses an assistive communication device to speak, and a power wheelchair to move. Minimal lifting is required, and a wheelchair accessible home is set up for optimal convenience.


A background in care providing and experience with Individuals experiencing intellectual and developmental delays is helpful, but not required.


An opportunity for Job coaching and assistance in running our client's nonprofit business may also be offered to the right candidate. Job Coaching requires a diverse set of skills that would provide a contractor with challenge, education, and reward. Experience with children, and/or a background in education, or working within a school setting is helpful for this position. It will be a plus if you have writing, editing, and public speaking experience.
