Job Summary:
Bridgeport Place Assisted Living is seeking a responsible and compassionate Part-Time Driver to provide safe and reliable transportation for our residents. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to ensuring the well-being of our senior community.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely transport residents to medical appointments, shopping trips, recreational outings, and other scheduled activities.
  • Assist residents in and out of the vehicle, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Maintain cleanliness and general upkeep of the community vehicle.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the vehicle.
  • Communicate effectively with staff and residents to coordinate transportation schedules.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs.
  • Provide a friendly and respectful experience for all passengers.
Qualifications:
  • Must have a valid Washington State driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Experience working with seniors or individuals with mobility challenges is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to assist residents with walkers, wheelchairs, or other mobility aids as needed.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and professional.
