Job Description 

We’re looking for Medical Assistants who are excited to support patient-centered care and ensure the smooth flow of clinic operations. In this role, you’ll help coordinate patient visits, support care teams, assist with administrative and clinical tasks, and contribute to a welcoming and efficient environment for all patients. Key Responsibilities 

  • Support efficient patient flow during scheduled clinics through coordination with care teams  

  • Assist with clerical and clinical duties, including use of electronic systems and documentation  

  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and internal teams  

  • Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, OSHA, and organizational policies  

  • Collaborate with clinic staff, volunteers, and providers to ensure high-quality care delivery  

  • Float to other departments as needed  

Collaborative Teamwork 

This role involves working closely with our team to deliver effective, patient-focused services and contribute to a supportive and collaborative work environment. 

Qualifications 

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred  

  • Knowledge of office organization and basic clerical skills required  

  • Experience with computer systems and PC-based software  

  • Completion of a Medical Assistant program, Medical Assistant training, or Certified Nurse Assistant course preferred  

  • Prior healthcare experience as a Medical Assistant preferred  

  • BLS certification required and maintained thereafter  

  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate effectively in English  

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and exercise sound judgment  

  • Demonstrated Service Excellence skills with patients, families, and coworkers
