Wiring Harness Assembly Technician
Location Decatur, TX | Onsite

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• $19.00–$20.00 per hour
• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• W2 employment
• Start date: ASAP


ROLE IMPACT
This role supports the production of custom wiring harnesses and industrial control systems used in engine, power generation, and industrial applications. Success is defined by producing accurate, high-quality assemblies that meet engineering specifications and pass inspection and testing standards. Your work directly impacts product reliability and customer satisfaction.

• Assemble wiring harnesses using work instructions, technical drawings, and electrical schematics
• Cut, strip, crimp, label, and terminate wires and cables to specification
• Install connectors, terminals, heat shrink tubing, and protective loom
• Inspect completed assemblies for quality, accuracy, and workmanship standards
• Perform continuity and basic functional testing as required
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy
• Ability to read and follow basic assembly drawings and written work instructions
• Good manual dexterity and ability to work with small components; prior manufacturing, assembly, electrical, automotive, or wiring experience preferred but not required

• Hand tools such as wire cutters, crimpers, and stripping tools
• Small components, connectors, terminals, and wiring assemblies
Production/assembly environment requiring prolonged sitting or standing


Preferred Skills
• Experience with wiring harness assembly or electrical assembly
• Familiarity with quality inspection processes
