What are the typical responsibilities of an assistant watermelon inspector in the agriculture industry?

As an Assistant Watermelon Inspector, your daily tasks typically include examining watermelons for ripeness, quality, and signs of disease or pests. You may assist with documenting findings, preparing reports, and coordinating with packing or shipping teams to ensure only top-quality produce is distributed. Collaboration with senior inspectors and farm staff is common, offering valuable on-the-job learning. This role can serve as a stepping stone to more advanced quality control or agricultural inspection positions.
