Job description
We are seeking a talented CAD Designer to join the team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in CAD software and a strong understanding of technical drawings and schematics.
Key Responsibilities:
Two (2) + years of job experience in CAD design or product evaluation testing.
Associate Degree or equivalent preferred
Create and maintain 2D drawings and 3D models of ball valves, valve components, assemblies, and tooling
Develop detailed part and assembly drawings including dimensions, tolerances, materials, finishes, and BOMs
Revise drawings and models based on engineering changes, manufacturing feedback, or customer requirements
Collaborate with engineers, machinists, quality, and production teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and cost‑effective
Apply GD&T per ASME standards to ensure proper fit, function, and performance of valve components
Support new product development, product improvements, and customization of valve designs
Maintain document control and ensure drawings comply with company standards and revision control requirements
Assist with engineering change notices (ECNs) and drawing updates
Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards such as ASME, API, ISO, and customer specifications
Create exploded views, assembly instructions, and technical drawings for manufacturing and service purposes
Support sales and customer engineering needs with technical drawings and layout concepts when required
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment working on multiple projects concurrently
Preferred Skills:
3D modelling experience (PTC Creo preferred)
Microsoft Outlook, Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
