Job description

Matrix Providers is seeking qualified neurologist, psychiatrist, or psychiatrist to join our provider network as an Independent Contractor for traumatic brain injury exams as well as general medicine disability exams. There is no treatment or prescribing. Office will be provided.

Qualifications:

  • Doctorate Degree in Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine
  • An active and unrestricted license
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in neurology
  • Updated resume with minimum 2 years of clinical experience

Your Role as a Provider:

As a clinician, you are an expert in the assessment, evaluation, and diagnosis of health conditions for your patients. As an independent contractor with us, you apply your clinical expertise in the evaluation and diagnosis of traumatic brain injury conditions to support a Veterans disability claim. As a certified medical disability examiner, you gather and synthesize clinical evidence through medical and military record review, diagnostic testing, interviews with Veterans, and face-to-face examinations. You develop a medical opinion of likelihood that the Veterans condition is related to their military service. The timely and expert examination assures that a Veterans claim is heard and dutifully processed by VBA.
