As an Assistant Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Specialist, you will often support patients with cognitive, behavioral, and physical challenges resulting from brain injuries. Common responsibilities include assisting with therapy exercises, helping patients with daily living activities, documenting patient progress, and communicating observations to the clinical team. One of the main challenges is adapting to each patient's unique needs and progress, which requires patience, flexibility, and strong interpersonal skills. You'll also collaborate closely with therapists, nurses, and physicians to ensure coordinated care and help patients work toward gradual independence.
