Job Overview

The Production Assistant Supervisor supports the Supervisor in managing daily operations and leading the department to achieve production, quality, and safety goals. This role ensures continuity of leadership during the Supervisor's absence and contributes to team development, problem-solving, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Work Schedule:

Friday - Sunday 6:00am - 6:00pm

Highlights of your role

Coach and train team members on processes, safety standards, and best practices.

Provide input on performance reviews and corrective actions.

Support onboarding and cross-training to build workforce flexibility.

Foster a positive, inclusive culture that promotes engagement and teamwork.

Communicate operational updates to team members and Supervisor.

Monitor daily shift activities and adjust labor allocation to meet production goals.

Track attendance and address minor attendance issues promptly.

Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards; report concerns and assist in investigations.

Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for shift activities.

Identify and help resolve quality and productivity issues through root cause analysis.

Collaborate with support departments to remove barriers and achieve goals.

Promote a culture of safety and integrity by consistently following all safety protocols, reporting hazards, and engaging in training and initiatives.

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

1-2 years of professional experience, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.

Bilingual in Spanish and English required.

Prior experience in leadership or team lead role is preferred.

Training in safety and quality systems (e.g., OSHA basics, Lean principles).

Knowledge of leadership development or coaching practices.

Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office Suite.

Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize daily responsibilities in a fastpaced environment.
