Job description

Do you love playing with and teaching little ones?
Here's your chance to make a lasting impact on children's lives through imaginative learning and physical activity!

About the Role

Amazing Athletes, part of the Youth Athletes United family (alongside Soccer Stars and Little Rookies), is looking for energetic and fun-loving coaches to teach fundamental sports skills to children ages 18 months to 10 years.

Our multi-sport programs use structured active play to introduce kids to a variety of sports - from soccer and basketball to tennis, volleyball, and track & field - while teaching the basics of fitness, nutrition, and muscle awareness.

If you're passionate about helping kids grow, have a big personality, and love to stay active, this is the job for you!

What You'll Do
  • Lead high-energy, engaging multi-sport classes for toddlers and young children.
  • Use prewritten lesson plans and videos to deliver fun, structured sessions-no sports experience required!
  • Provide individual attention to ensure each child feels successful and confident.
  • Use positive reinforcement and a non-competitive approach to keep learning fun.
  • Ensure safety and maintain a nurturing environment at all times.
  • Build relationships with schools, parents, and teammates through great communication.

Requirements

Who We're Looking For
  • Experience working with children (as a teacher, coach, camp counselor, nanny, or youth leader).
  • Reliable, responsible, and ready to bring positive energy to every class.
  • Physically active and able to demonstrate movements and sports skills.
  • Comfortable leading groups of children independently.
  • Punctual, organized, and professional in both attitude and appearance.
  • A lifelong learner open to feedback and professional growth.
  • Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel up to 30 minutes between class locations.
Schedule
  • Weekday mornings (9:00 AM - 11:30 AM) and/or afternoons (2:00 PM - 4:30 PM). We also have some seasonal weeknights sessions.
  • Occasional Saturday sessions or camps during summer and special events.
  • Flexible scheduling options available.

Benefits

Pay & Perks
  • Earn $22-$35 per session after completing on-field training.
  • Paid training and certification.
  • Incentive bonuses for performance and reliability.
  • Additional compensation for travel between locations.
  • Opportunities for career growth into Head Coach or Director roles.
  • Free and discounted programs for family members.
Why Join Amazing Athletes?

For toddlers to tweens, our programs use structured active play to teach sport fundamentals, nutrition, and muscle identification-building the foundation for healthy habits that last a lifetime.

We're part of Youth Athletes United, the nation's largest youth sports platform with over 23 years of experience helping kids discover confidence, teamwork, and a love for movement.

When you join our team, you join a community of passionate coaches who believe every child is an athlete-and every class is a chance to make a difference.
