A well-established, high-end dental practice located in Ottawa, ON is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic Certified Level II Dental Assistant to join their vibrant team. Known for delivering exceptional patient care in a fun and supportive environment, this practice operates a state-of-the-art 5-operatory office with a smooth daily flow. This opportunity is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a collaborative setting and is eager to expand their clinical skill set with advanced learning opportunities, such as infant frenectomy procedures.

Job Description

Key responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Providing four-handed chairside assistance during a wide variety of dental procedures.

  • Maintaining strict adherence to provincial IPAC sterilization and infection control protocols.

  • Preparing, stocking, and turning over treatment operatories.

  • Performing authorized intra-oral tasks, including taking digital X-rays as well as standard and digital impressions.

  • Communicating warmly and effectively with patients to ensure a comfortable experience.

  • Managing daily schedules and clinical tasks to maintain office flow.

Schedule

Full-Time (No Evenings & No Weekends)

  • Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursday: 7:30 AM 5:00 PM

  • Friday: 7:30 AM 2:30 PM

Compensation & Benefits
  • Pay Rate: $30.00 $37.00 per hour (commensurate with experience and skill level)

Requirements
  • Successful completion of an accredited Dental Assisting program (Level II).
