Job description

Career Opportunities with Pinkard Construction

A great place to work.

Current job opportunities are posted here as they become available.

Exciting news - Pinkard is joining Catamount Constructors! It’s a great fit. We share a lot of the same
values, and joining forces with a $1 billion company with national reach gives us the chance to grow while providing our clients with the same relationships we’ve built over decades.

  • Same people, more resources. You're still working with the Pinkard team you already trust. We just have more tools and backup now — bigger bonding capacity, more expertise in-house, deeper bench — so we can do the job even better than before.
  • Still Colorado, but not just Colorado. We're not going anywhere — 64+ years in this market, still fully committed to it. The difference is if you choose to work outside of Colorado, there are plenty of options, 49 states, not just the Front Range.
  • New ownership model, even better execution. Catamount is 100% employee-owned, meaning the people you work with have real skin in the game, just like you will.
  • More diverse, more complex. This partnership allows us to add additional markets to our resume and serve our clients’ most complex projects.

Pinkard Construction is the region's most awarded, mid-sized general contractor based in Colorado. Our focus for the last 60 years has been to build the highest quality commercial and multifamily buildings that support the communities in which we live across the Colorado Front Range. Our people enjoy the opportunity to build where they live, and remain local to participate in all the great state of Colorado has to offer. We thrive when our communities thrive, and are looking for those who will join us in building a great place to live and work.

At Pinkard Construction, our employees are our most valued assets. Our success is due to the direct result of teamwork. If you are looking for a career at a company that has a true interest in its employees, focuses only on the Colorado Front Range, so you can go home to your family at night, offers competitive salaries, industry-leading benefits packages, and a bonus/profit-sharing program for all employees, Pinkard is the place for you!

Catamount builds the spaces communities depend on every day. From distribution centers that keep goods moving and medical facilities that provide critical care, to housing, restaurants, and fire stations serving local neighborhoods, our work supports real life. As a best-in-class, 100% employee-owned general contractor with a national reach, we complete projects across diverse markets and regions. This diversity empowers us, keeps our teams moving forward, and creates long-term opportunities for the people shaping our company.

Why choose Pinkard Construction, a Catamount Constructors Company?

We’re financially stable, growing, and built for the long haul. Our extensive national backlog and diverse project types provide stability, momentum, and opportunities. At Pinkard/Catamount, careers advance. Employee-owners can grow, move between project types and markets, and build long-term careers without starting over. Teams are carefully staffed, work-life balance is prioritized, and our people are seen as long‑term assets.

  • Proactively schedule work to expedite the project and address any issues with subcontractors early on by planning and organizing tasks in advance and promptly resolving any problems with subcontractors to avoid delays.
  • Prepare daily and weekly safety reports to ensure all safety protocols are being followed and documented. Attend mandatory monthly safety meetings to stay updated on safety regulations and practices.
  • Prepares Daily/Weekly/Event SWMP Reports; and ensure that BMP’s are in place.
  • Read, research, coordinate, and understand project documents at least 2-3 weeks prior to the start of tasks to ensure thorough preparation.
  • Review submittals before the installation of work to verify compliance with project requirements.
  • Prepare, track, and maintain the project turnover matrix, ensuring it includes all jurisdictional sign-offs and owner requirements.
  • Develop the project punch-list in association with the Project Manager (PM) to ensure all tasks are identified and addressed. Take responsibility for completing the punch-list within two weeks of its issuance.
  • Taking part in various aspects of the job, gaining exposure to different tasks and processes, even if not yet fully responsible for them.
