The Project Assistant provides administrative and operational support to Project Managers and project teams on data center and power generation projects, working closely with the Senior Project Assistant to support day-to-day project activities. This role plays a key part in maintaining organized project documentation and supporting the overall efficiency of the project team. This is a fully in-office position based out of our Sparks, MD office.
 
Responsibilities include:
  • Provide administrative support to Project Managers and project teams, working closely with the Senior Project Assistant to prepare, format, edit, and manage project documents, reports, contracts, and other project-related materials.
  • Perform quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) reviews of documents to ensure accuracy, consistency, grammar, punctuation, formatting, and adherence to company templates and standards.
  • Assist with drafting, proofreading, and editing project communications, including emails, correspondence, meeting materials, proposals, reports, presentations, and other client deliverables.
  • Support project coordination activities, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, documenting meeting notes, tracking action items, and assisting with project deadlines and deliverables.
  • Maintain organized electronic project files and support document management, filing, and version control processes to ensure project information is accurate and accessible.
  • Provide general project support to help maintain team efficiency, including assisting with administrative tasks, documentation, and other project-related activities as needed.
Specialized Skills Preferred:
  • Minimum 1 year of administrative or project support experience in a professional services, engineering, construction, or consulting environment preferred.
  • Strong written communication skills with exceptional attention to detail, including experience with document editing, proofreading, formatting, and QA/QC reviews.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, manage deadlines, and support project teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with project documentation, including reports, contracts, proposals, or other technical materials preferred.

  • High school diploma is required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Pre-employment drug screening and background check are conditions of employment. Motor vehicle checks may be required based upon position.
