Job description

Resident Assistant Job Description -

Hours: Between 5pm -7 am Thursdays, 8am-5 pm Saturday or Sundays also PRN staff needed: Shifts and Hours can be discussed at the interview times.

Reports to: Program Director

1. Present a positive, disciplined, and loving Christ-like role model.

2. Oversee the well-being/needs of the residents 

a.      Maintain the baby boutique

b.      Receive and put away donations

c.      Communicate repairs for maintenance(monthly) 

d.      Fuel FMC vehicles weekly, logs and receipts to PD weekly

e.      Refresh supplies weekly and take inventory monthly

f.       Coordinate volunteers for projects with PD oversight

g.      Ensure needs are communicated to the Program Director

h.      Answer phone and door

3. Client Services: Works on client Goals with Program Director for specific schedules and duties

a.      Help residents learn household life skills, chore charts, room checks

b.      Assist residents with baby care during classes and meetings

c.      Provide limited transportation

d.      Meal planning with clients and house grocery shopping

e.      Assist medication access in compliance with FMC medication policy

f.       Provide disciplinary rules with L.O.V.E according to FMC guidelines

g.      Plan family activities and outings with Program Director for residents

4. Meet with PD at least weekly to review all client progress, discipline and holes in compliance

5. When clients are taken to the hospital or ER notify the PD as soon as possible by text or phone call. 

6. Other duties as assigned by the PD
