Senior Event Planner, Global Events & Activations

Position Summary
The Senior Event Planner is an experienced event marketer responsible for supporting the Global Events & Activations team in translating marketing objectives into world-class live experiences that support commercial goals, strengthen brand perception and create meaningful engagement with players.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Global Events & Activations, this role will own the end-to-end development of events & activations for assigned campaigns, from initial briefing and planning through agency management, production, global rollout and post-campaign evaluation. The role will work collaboratively with Global Marketing, Game Studios, PR, Social, Partnership, Influencer and Territory Marketing teams to ensure every activation delivers against a unified global vision while allowing flexibility for local market execution.
This is a highly collaborative role requiring equal strengths in marketing judgement, creative development and production leadership. Success will come from the ability to influence stakeholders, simplify complexity and confidently lead programs that inspire audiences across the world.
Key Responsibilities
Event & Production Leadership
  • Lead assigned activation initiatives for global marketing campaigns, many with a U.S. focus, from briefing through delivery and evaluation, translating marketing objectives into clear and actionable plans.
  • Partner with Games Marketing, Brand and Hardware Marketing, Studios, Partnerships, Sponsorships, PR, Social, Influencer and Territory Marketing teams to define the role of events within broader go-to-market plans and identify opportunities for creators, content and earned media.
  • Develop events briefs and guide agencies from concept through programming, production and live delivery, balancing creative ambition with budget, timeline and operational feasibility.
  • Manage agencies, suppliers, budgets, statements of work, schedules and technical or onsite operations to deliver high-quality experiences.

Global Enablement & Governance
  • Present activation frameworks to territory teams, review local proposals and provide guidance that maintains a unified global vision while allowing appropriate market flexibility.
  • Ensure programs meet Creative, Legal, Corporate Security and Health & Safety requirements, supported by clear risk assessments, operational plans and delivery schedules.

Measurement & Continuous Improvement
  • Define KPIs, lead post-event reporting and share insights and recommendations that strengthen future campaigns and the Global Events & Activations Strategy.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Approximately 8+ years of relevant experience in experiential marketing, events or production within gaming, entertainment, media or technology.
  • Proven experience leading global experiential campaigns from strategy and creative development through production, rollout and evaluation.
  • Strong integrated marketing, stakeholder and agency management skills, including the ability to influence senior partners and build trusted relationships.
  • Commercial awareness and production expertise, including budgets, suppliers, governance, risk assessments and Health & Safety requirements.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking and creative ambition with operational feasibility, timelines and business priorities.
  • Clear, confident communicator who is equally comfortable presenting to senior leadership as well as supporting onsite delivery.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
