A POSITION SUMMARY:
Assist General Services Division office in an operational support role through logistics, coordination of workflow and services for all County Facilities including scheduling, work orders, appointments, answering phones, reports, payroll, account payable, and other administrative and clerical tasks.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Coordinate and update Schedules for the Director of Operations
  • Track Disciplinary Actions for the General Service Warehouse and Parks
  • Assist the Director with grievances
  • Coordinate and Assign Job Requisitions for General Services.
  • Processing Personnel Actions in Lawson
  • Track Leave of Absences and FMLA cases and hours
  • Submit worker's comp incident reports
  • Payroll for Business office, Almshouse Warehouse, and Parks - submit GS payroll to controllers
  • Location Sheets for Trades and Warehouse Employees
  • Track time off and overtime hours for Trades, Warehouse, and Parks Employees
  • Prepare and receive Timecards for Warehouse and Parks Employees.
  • Track and notify managers of daily call outs for the department
  • Track Shoe Allowance Reimbursements for Warehouse and Parks Employees
  • Post weekly job postings at Warehouse
  • Assist / Track License Reimbursements
  • Assist with phone calls for business office
  • Credit Card Authorization for materials purchased for projects.
  • Performs similar or related duties as assigned/required.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Ability to multi-task in a busy office environment.

  • Payroll software a plus.
  • Ability to introduce and implement innovative ideas, be highly organized with ability to multitask and meet changing deadlines.
  • Must be able to work without direction with attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.
  • Must maintain confidentiality.
