This full-time, in-person position provides direct support to two attorneys, whose practices focus on business law, mergers and acquisitions, commercial real estate, corporate governance, and complex business transactions.

What You'll Do

As a Legal Assistant, you will play an integral role in helping our attorneys provide responsive, high-quality legal services to businesses, entrepreneurs, developers, and commercial clients. Responsibilities include:

  • Prepare, proofread, revise, and format a variety of legal documents, correspondence, contracts, closing documents, and corporate records.
  • Assist with mergers and acquisitions, commercial real estate transactions, entity formations, corporate governance matters, and commercial contracts.
  • Organize and maintain electronic and physical client files.
  • Coordinate transaction timelines, due diligence materials, and closing checklists.
  • Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate client communications.
  • Prepare expense reports, time entries, and client billing information.
  • Open new client matters, perform conflict checks, and maintain accurate client records.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, financial institutions, title companies, government agencies, and other outside contacts.
  • Assist with document management and e-filing when appropriate.
  • Perform additional administrative and legal support duties as assigned.
Education Requirements
  • Education: Associate degree, High School Diploma, GED Equivalent, or industry-specific certifications.
