Job description

***Must live within a commutable distance to Moon Township, PA, USA for in-person trainings and meetings.***

OBJECTIVE

The Technical Product Manager’s (TPM) primary responsibility is to collaborate with business partners and IT to identify technology solutions, build/buy and implement innovative products that deliver outstanding user experiences for our members and staff.

The TPM bridges the gap between our business objectives and technology solutions. They collaborate with business department managers and/or product managers for strategic product planning and prioritization, efficiency evaluations, release management, daily product consulting and system modifications. This position involves analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, collaborating with cross-functional teams and implementing technology solutions that enhance efficiency and member satisfaction.

WORKING HOURS:

8:30am-5:00pm based on operational needs. Possible weekends or nights if necessary.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Analysis, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 1-3 years of technical product management, product owner or business analysis experience required, preferably within the financial services or credit union industry.
  • Experience or familiarity of programming concepts, SQL, APIs, and the SDLC.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project or Smartsheet), and business analysis tools (e.g., Visio, JIRA).
  • Applies advanced knowledge of AI tools, systems, and methods to design, implement, and optimize solutions that enhance organizational performance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall). Ability to manage multiple projects/initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Ability to work collaboratively or independently in a team environment with minimal supervision. Strong interpersonal skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience with credit union core systems and financial applications.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in the financial services industry.
  • Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) or related field.
  • Experience with process improvement analysis and procedure development
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements. Ensure that requirements are clear, concise, and achievable.
  • Evaluate current systems and processes to identify opportunities for improvement. Recommend changes that align with business goals and enhance efficiency.
  • Develop detailed specifications and designs for new systems or modifications to existing systems. Ensure that solutions are scalable, reliable, and secure.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure systems meet specified requirements. Identify and resolve defects or issues.
  • Assist with developing the training and support to end-users. Work with stakeholders to develop user manuals, training materials, and documentation.
  • Maintain open communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Provide regular updates on project status and address any concerns.
  • Analyze data to support decision-making and business strategies. Create reports and dashboards to provide insights into key metrics.
  • Ensure that all systems and processes comply with regulatory requirements and industry best practices for security and data protection.
  • Adhere to all organizational policies related to information security, privacy, fraud prevention, and regulatory compliance, including completion of required training and protection of confidential information.
