Job description

Strategic Marketing Specialist | Product & Commercial Analytics

This is not a creative marketing, digital marketing, social media, or brand marketing role.

We're seeking an early-career professional who wants to develop into a Product Manager / strategic commercial leader within a technical manufacturing business.

The work is highly analytical.

You'll dig into market data, competitive intelligence, customer information, financial data, pricing and supply-chain information and help turn it into commercial insight leadership can use to make decisions about products, markets, customers and future growth.

You'll work directly with an experienced business leader and gain exposure to product management, market strategy, competitive analysis, new product development and commercial decision-making.

What you'll be doing:

  • Researching markets, competitors, customers and industry trends
  • Mining, organizing and analyzing commercial and market data
  • Evaluating financial, pricing and supply-chain information
  • Building market analyses, business cases and presentations for leadership
  • Working across Sales, Operations, Supply Chain and technical teams to gather information and identify opportunities
  • Supporting product strategy and new product initiatives
  • Helping evaluate where the business should compete and where future growth may come from
  • Participating in customer meetings, industry conferences and trade shows

We're interested in someone with:

  • Approximately 2–5 years of professional experience
  • Strong Excel, data analysis and presentation skills
  • An analytical mindset and genuine curiosity about how businesses and markets work
  • Experience with manufactured products, industrial materials, engineered products or other technical B2B markets
  • Experience in product management, market intelligence, commercial analysis, pricing, business analysis or technical marketing is especially relevant
  • Exposure to defense, aerospace, government or military markets is a plus

You don't need to already be a Product Manager.

We're looking for someone with the analytical horsepower, commercial curiosity and potential to become one.

This is an opportunity to learn under experienced leadership, understand a technical business from the inside, and grow into broader product management and strategic marketing responsibility over time.
