Soft Tech Consulting is seeking a highly motivated, analytical, and self-directed Technical Project Manager to provide critical mission support directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for a key government client. Operating in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, the selected candidate will drive strategic engagements, manage business process optimization initiatives, and deliver high-impact technical project management.
The ideal candidate bridges the gap between technical execution and executive-level communication, ensuring complex initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic DoD goals.
Responsibilities
  • Act as a key advisor to the CTO by researching, drafting, and developing strategic policy documents, technical briefs, and executive communications.
  • Coordinate high-level strategic engagements and track critical deliverables from external partners.
  • Lead business process optimization projects in direct coordination with the Robotic Process Automation (RPA) team to streamline enterprise workflows.
  • Define and align project roles, responsibilities, and milestones across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Establish, track, and maintain rigorous project timelines, budget estimates, and comprehensive status reports.
  • Author and execute comprehensive management plans, stakeholder communication strategies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for technical duties.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher, preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in technical project management or management consulting, preferably within a federal or military environment.
  • Proven hands-on experience utilizing Power BI and/or Tableau to synthesize data and generate executive-ready dashboards.
  • Working knowledge of business process automation (RPA) tools and methodologies.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to present complex technical concepts clearly to senior leadership and external partners.
  • Analytical, computer, math and problem-solving skills to be able to use software and to explain the software.
  • Strong structural organizational skills with a proven track record of managing technical projects from initiation through closure.
