Job description

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation and optimization of the PIM system, ensuring alignment with business and IT strategies.
  • Define and enforce data governance frameworks, standards, and best practices for product information.
  • Oversee data quality, ensuring accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timeliness of product data across systems.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (Marketing, Supply Chain, IT, eCommerce, Regulatory, etc.) to gather requirements and improve data processes.
  • Manage integrations between PIM and other systems such as ERP, DAM, CRM, and eCommerce platforms.
  • Drive master data management (MDM) initiatives related to product information.
  • Lead data migration, cleansing, and onboarding activities for new products or acquisitions.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs and metrics to track data quality and system performance.
  • Provide training and support to users to ensure adoption of PIM tools and processes.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to data and information management.
Qualifications Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
  • Master’s degree (preferred)
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in data management, PIM, or MDM roles
  • Hands‑on experience with PIM platforms (e.g., SAP Commerce, Informatica, Stibo Systems, Akeneo, Salsify)
  • Experience working in cross‑functional and global environments
Required Skills
  • Strong understanding of data governance and data quality management
  • Expertise in product data lifecycle management
  • Knowledge of system integrations and data modeling
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Project management experience (Agile/Scrum preferred)
