Job description

Ecolab is seeking a highly experienced Technical Product Manager, ServiceNow Source-to-Pay (S2P) to serve as the technical product owner and strategic advisor for our ServiceNow-based Accounts Payable and Procurement solutions. This role will bridge business objectives and platform capabilities by partnering closely with Finance, Procurement, and IT stakeholders to deliver scalable, efficient, and compliant Source-to-Pay experiences.
As the technical lead for ServiceNow S2P, you will help shape product strategy, evaluate technical solutions, guide roadmap prioritization, and ensure platform health across integrations, workflows, and user experiences. You will provide technical leadership throughout the product lifecycle while balancing business needs, platform capabilities, long-term maintainability, and operational excellence.
Reporting to the leader of Technical Product Ownership within the ServiceNow Platform Organization, this role offers significant visibility and the opportunity to influence the future of AP automation, supplier engagement, and Finance technology at Ecolab.

What You Will Do
Serve as the Technical Product Leader for Source-to-Pay
  • Partner with business product managers and business stakeholders to translate operational requirements into scalable ServiceNow solutions.
  • Evaluate proposed business solutions and provide guidance regarding technical feasibility, maintainability, and platform alignment.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and technical tradeoffs before development begins.
  • Facilitate design discussions and build consensus across Finance, Procurement, and IT teams.

Drive Product Delivery Excellence
  • Collaborate with delivery managers and development teams on backlog prioritization, estimation, and roadmap planning.
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, peer reviews, and user acceptance testing activities.
  • Ensure technical quality and alignment throughout delivery and deployment activities.
  • Remain actively engaged throughout implementation and go-live support.

Own ServiceNow S2P Platform Health
  • Monitor platform performance, integrations, and operational metrics.
  • Oversee integration points between ServiceNow and ERP systems, primarily SAP.
  • Analyze exception trends, transaction errors, and data quality issues to proactively identify improvement opportunities.
  • Coordinate resolution efforts with technical and business teams.

Advance Product Strategy and Innovation
  • Maintain awareness of ServiceNow platform enhancements and emerging capabilities relevant to Finance and Procurement.
  • Develop recommendations for future investments and roadmap priorities.
  • Support initiatives focused on:
    • Touchless invoice processing
    • Supplier portal expansion
    • Exception reduction
    • AI-assisted Accounts Payable workflows
    • Process automation and operational efficiency

Location: St. Paul, MN (Hybrid)
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical discipline.
  • 10 years of experience in enterprise platform management, product management, or related technology roles.
  • Significant hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform.
  • Experience supporting Source-to-Pay, Accounts Payable, Procurement, or Finance Operations processes.
  • Working knowledge of SAP or another enterprise ERP platform.
  • Experience managing integrations between ERP platforms and ServiceNow solutions.
  • Understanding of data management concepts supporting reporting, analytics, reconciliation, and financial operations.
  • Experience working within Agile development methodologies, including backlog management, sprint planning, and iterative delivery.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with demonstrated ability to influence senior business and technology leaders.
  • Familiarity with SOX controls, compliance requirements, and financial governance processes.
  • No immigration sponsorship available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Direct SAP integration and Finance systems experience.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or similar Agile certification.
  • Experience with ServiceNow Source-to-Pay Operations and Accounts Payable Operations solutions.
  • Experience leveraging ServiceNow Now Assist and AI-enabled workflow capabilities.
  • Experience driving enterprise-scale Finance transformation or automation initiatives.

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range
The base salary range for this position is $153,900.00 - $230,800.00. This position is eligible for annual bonus pay based on performance, per plan terms. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
