Job description

We are seeking a Lead Technical Program Manager in our Broomfield, CO Location.
Quantinuum believes that employees work better, more efficiently and more collaboratively in close proximity to other employees, where ideas can be exchanged readily, and decisions can be made more quickly for the benefit of the Company and our customers. All employees should work at their assigned location; however, this role may offer the opportunity to work remotely up to 2 days per week, with approvals.
All applicants for placement in safety-sensitive positions will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug test.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead development of and manage detailed schedules, budgets, resource needs, and work plans for technical deliverableson complex, multi-faceted hardware R&D programs
  • Organize and coordinate with multiple technical and operational teams
  • Lead regular status meetings, project reviews, and end-of-task retrospectives
  • Ensure timely and effective communicationof strategy, scope changes, risks, and progressbetween technical teams, partners, product and program management, and leadership through reports, dashboards, and presentations
  • Identify opportunities to accelerate schedule or develop needed technologies
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

YOU MUST HAVE:
  • Bachelor's degree minimum
  • Minimum 8+ years' experience in technical program management
  • Direct experience supporting or executing federal programs which includes strict adherence to reporting metrics, audits, and compliance requirements
  • Due to Contractual requirements, must be a U.S. Person defined as, U.S. citizen permanent resident or green card holder, workers granted asylum or refugee status
  • Due to national security requirements imposed by the U.S. Government, candidates for this position must not be a People's Republic of China national or Russian national unless the candidate is also a U.S. citizen.

WE VALUE:
  • Master's degree in a STEM field
  • A background in quantum computing, optics and photonics, or experimental physics
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Experience in product development
  • Experience seeing technology-based projects through the full life cycle including managing schedule, risk, and budget
  • Prior experience on first-of-its-kind, early technology-based products or projects
  • Resourcefulness and the ability to predict challenges to proactively head-off obstacles
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines in these areas for others
  • Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality
  • Ability to adapt tactics and strategies to meet diverse, early phase, and strongly technical projects
  • Thorough understanding of risk and opportunity analysis and management processes related to program planning

$164,000 - $205,000 a year
Compensation & Benefits:
Incentive Eligible - Range posted is inclusive of bonus target.
The pay range for this role is $164,000 - $205,000 annually. Actual compensation within this range may vary based on the candidate's skills, educational background, professional experience, and unique qualifications for the role.
