Reporting to the Director, Workday Architect, the HRIS Analyst will play an important role as a subject matter expert for Workday, with a focus on HCM and Reporting. In conjunction with the HRIS team, this position will be responsible for Workday support on People functions: Configuration, maintenance and optimization, ensuring data integrity, system efficiency, and alignment with business objectives. This role requires strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of Workday reporting capabilities.

Please note this is not an IT-based role and backgrounds based solely in IT will not be considered.

Your Leadership

  • Assist with the design, build, and rollout of new People technology solutions that support a growing and global workforce. Translate business needs into system requirements and deliver clean, scalable solutions that improve how we work.
  • Configure Workday modules, including HCM and Compensation and Reporting and manage business processes to match company policies.
  • Design, develop, and test standard and custom reports, dashboards and hubs in Workday across various modules, to provide actionable data insights.
  • Conduct regular system audits, perform data analysis and validation to ensure the integrity and accuracy of information.
  • Act as the main point of contact for Workday helpdesk tickets. Troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Develop and deliver job aids and training to end-users on Workday functionalities and best practices.
  • Stay current with Workday releases and new features, assessing their applicability and implementing relevant enhancements.
  • Prepare and deliver regular reports to HR leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Assist with other HRIS projects as needed.

Must Haves

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Workday reporting tools such as Advanced Reporting, Matrix Reporting, Composite Reports, calculated fields, and EIB's.
  • Possess a solid understanding of Workday's HCM module, Business Processes, and Security Framework preferred.
  • Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into system solutions.
  • Proven experience with HR or Finance business processes.
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders and explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.
  • High attention to detail, with strong organizational, analytic, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer service focus with a high sense of urgency.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Understanding of general People and system processes, procedures, controls, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with other Workday modules such as Learning, Talent, Payroll, Time Tracking, EIBs and integrations is highly preferred.
  • Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus.
  • Global experience a plus.
  • Workday certifications (e.g., Workday HCM or Reporting) are highly desirable.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Most work tasks are performed indoors. Must be able to sit at a desk for up to 5 hours per day. Walking and standing are required the rest of the working day. This may include traveling to and from meetings. Length of time of these tasks may vary from day to day and task to task. Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. occasionally. Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
