Job Description:

INDIVIDUAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Administer and maintain the ServiceNow platform and its core applications
  • Manager users, groups, roles, permissions and access controls.
  • Configure and support ITSM modules, including Incident, Problem, Change, Service Requests and Catalog Items.
  • Develop and maintain Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI policies, UI actions and Notifications.
  • Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and performance metrics
  • Support services and applications hosted by the platform, including data quality and configuration management processes.
  • Troubleshoot platform issues, configuration problems and performance issues.
  • Support integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP API's, MID Servers and integration Hub.
  • Participate in ServiceNow upgrades, patches, testing, releases and deployments .
  • Maintain platform security and ensure appropriate access controls.
  • Gather business requirements and translate them into effective ServiceNow solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement and platform optimization.
  • Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to ServiceNow users and Service Owners.

KEY SHARED ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Collaborate with a diverse workforce within a matrix environment and be able to communicate effectively in obtaining and synthesizing requirements from external stakeholders, while working with the team to implement ServiceNow.
  • Ensure a full understanding of business requirements and apply knowledge to escalate/prioritize delivery of new and existing projects
  • Ensure that new capabilities required by the business are in line with ITSM roadmap and strategy

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum requirement: ServiceNow Certified System Admin (CSA) designation
  • More than 5 years of ServiceNow System Administration experience
  • High SME technical knowledge of the ServiceNow Platform and its capabilities
  • Communication & Planning
  • Strong Verbal and Written Communications Skills
  • ITIL Foundations Knowledge
  • Technical Knowledge of ITSM Platform
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow - Now Assist capabities.
