Job description

Assistant Supervisor
Position Summary
The Production departments create personalized gifts for our customers. The Assistant Supervisor supports the Department Supervisor in a production warehouse environment to ensure a consistent, efficient, and high-quality product is delivered to meet customer expectations.
Shift
1st Shift Between: 6:30 AM-3:00 PM
Peak schedule may vary based on business needs
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Monitor daily department efficiencies using reports, calculations, and tracking data
  • Inspect and distribute picked materials to production lines and personnel
  • Continuously monitor order backlog, with a focus on express orders
  • Operate department-specific production equipment as needed
  • Ensure equipment settings are accurate and aligned with production needs
  • Guide and support POC's and production staff to meet required output levels
  • Perform routine maintenance and assist in diagnosing and repairing equipment issues
  • Report safety concerns, policy violations, and quality issues to the Department Supervisor
  • Assist with training, onboarding, and staff adjustments
  • Promote a positive work environment with high morale and performance expectations
  • Maintain strong attendance and punctuality
  • Perform additional department-specific tasks as assigned by the Supervisor

Education & Experience
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 1 year of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Work Environment & Expectations
  • Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods (8+ hours)
  • Strong attendance, punctuality, and reliability required

The expected hourly pay range for this position is $19.00 to $24.00 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and other factors permitted by law.
