Description

The Financial Center Assistant Manager plays a key leadership role in supporting the overall success and daily operations of First Bank Midwest Financial Center. This position is responsible for supervising front-line staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining the integrity of daily banking functions-including teller operations, new account openings, and compliance with operational standards.ย 

In partnership with the Financial Center Manager, the Assistant Manager helps execute strategic goals, drives employee development and engagement, and fosters a culture of accountability and performance. This role also serves as a trusted resource for resolving customer issues, reinforcing internal controls, and identifying opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery.ย 

Requirements

Key Responsibilitiesย 

1. Operational ย ย Management: Oversee the daily ย ย operations of the Financial Center, ensuring that all activities are ย ย conducted efficiently and in compliance with bank policies and procedures. ย ย Manage scheduling, workflow, and resources to optimize performance.

2. Staff ย ย Supervision: Lead and supervise ย ย the Financial Center staff, including tellers and universal banker. Provide ย ย guidance, training, and support to ensure that staff members are equipped to ย ย deliver high-quality service.

3. Customer ย ย Service: Ensure that all ย ย customer interactions within the Financial Center are positive and ย ย professional. Assist with resolving customer issues and ensure that the team ย ย meets customer service standards.

4. Account ย ย Management: Oversee the opening ย ย of new accounts, including checking and savings accounts, and ensure that ย ย teller services are performed accurately and promptly. Monitor the accuracy ย ย and completeness of account documentation.

5. Strategy ย ย Implementation: Assist the Financial ย ย Center Manager with implementing strategic initiatives, including business ย ย development activities, customer outreach, and community engagement efforts. ย ย Support the execution of the center's growth and retention strategies.

6. Compliance ย ย and Risk Management: ย ย Ensure that all operational activities comply with regulatory requirements ย ย and bank policies. Monitor and mitigate risks associated with daily ย ย operations.

7. Reporting ย ย and Analysis: Assist in preparing ย ย reports on the Financial Center's performance, including operational metrics ย ย and customer satisfaction. Provide insights and recommendations for ย ย continuous improvement.
