Position Overview

Professional Assist Corporation ("PAC") is seeking a motivated, relationship-driven Business Development Representative to increase PAC association membership through key business partnerships.

This role is responsible for driving association membership growth by developing relationships with regional beauty and wellness employers and salon suite franchise groups within a targeted portfolio. It combines strategic prospecting, pipeline development, and relationship management through outbound outreach, discovery conversations, and consistent virtual and in-person engagement. The representative builds and manages a healthy sales pipeline, identifies opportunities to expand existing accounts, and represents PAC at national conferences and industry events.

This is a non-exempt, full-time, hourly position. Commission is a core component of the compensation structure, designed to reward performance directly tied to results. This position reports to the Director of Strategic Partnerships and has no direct reports.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop relationships with regional and national salon suite franchise groups and beauty and wellness employers within a targeted account portfolio.
  • Identify key organizational lead targets and execute developed sales strategies to join the relevant PAC association(s), including the Group Monthly Payment plan.
  • Track performance and health of partner accounts. Analyze, prioritize, and monitor sales activities for reaching company goals.
  • Execute outbound outreach via phone, email, and in-person visits to generate new partnerships and reactivate dormant accounts.
  • Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline; track progress in Monday.com and report weekly on activity, pipeline health, and member conversions.
  • Stay current on all PAC membership benefits and programs to present them accurately and compellingly to target audiences.
  • Partner with PAC membership services for new partner onboarding and work cross-departmentally to improve the partner experience
  • Communicate sales and marketing opportunities based on feedback from business partners.
  • Manage the logistics of collateral production, shipping, and representation at key partner events.
  • Represent PAC at national conferences and industry events to generate new leads and strengthen existing relationships (approximately 15% travel, including occasional weekends)

Member Retention Support (All-Staff Initiative)

  • As part of a company-wide member retention effort shared across departments, make an estimated 30 expired-member outreach calls per week to help members renew their membership.

Job responsibilities and requirements may be modified at the company's discretion to meet the changing business needs.

Compensation

The competitive compensation range for this full-time, non-exempt position is $31.25 to $33.65 per hour or the equivalent of approximately $65,000-$70,000 per year, plus opportunity for quarterly commissions based on achieving goals, with an expected range of $1,000-$5,000 per quarter.  Additionally, all employees of the company are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on company performance.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Minimum two to five years in a sales, business development, or account management role; outbound sales experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding goals in a commission or quota-bearing role.
  • Goal-oriented and analytical. Uses data to make informed decisions.
  • Ambitious, persistent, persuasive, and enthusiastically approaches opportunities to upsell.
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized with the ability to manage a large account portfolio and track pipeline activity independently.
  • Demonstrated self-starter who can effectively communicate and work in a team environment.
  • Aptitude to learn new systems as they relate to association sales management.
  • Exhibits impeccable integrity in all aspects of job performance.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build relationships via phone, email, and in person.
  • Reflects an appreciation for the professions PAC serves: massage therapy, esthetics, cosmetology, and nail care.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with CRMs.
