Bechtel is building a semiconductor manufacturing plant in New Albany, Ohio. Bechtel will design and build Phase 1 of the Ohio One project, a total of 2.5 million square feet, including 600,000 square feet of cleanrooms. Construction will require as much steel as eight Eiffel Towers and as much concrete as the tallest skyscrapers.

Bechtel will strengthen future economic development in the region by partnering with the North America Building Trades Unions and suppliers to create several thousand new jobs and work with local education organizations to implement new training programs that will support the future talent pipeline.

Assistthe construction team in the technical aspects ofthecivil, structural, and architectural scope.Individual will provide direct support to superintendents and craft professionals, including, but not limited to, work package creation and maintenance, quality control, quantity verifications, material take-offs, material verifications, design change coordination, and general problem solving - all in support of meeting project cost and time schedules.

Project involves a significant civil/structural scopeinvolving both structural concrete and structural steel.Candidate should be well versed in concrete operations andtheAmerican Concrete Institute (ACI) Codes and Standards. Candidateshould be able to proficiently work inhigh-pacedenvironmentsand manage change while upholding Bechtel Safety and Quality standards.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to address constructability and design challenges related to commodity installations and work sequencing
• Provide comprehensive field engineering support to superintendents and project personnel, ensuring adherence to cost and scheduleobjectives

• Develop work plans, perform material take-offs, creatematerialrequisitions, perform and documentquality controlinspections, reportinstallationprogress, and resolvedesign and constructionconflictsrelated to the installation and testing of civil/structuralcommodities

• Perform civil field engineering activities including inspections, audits,and planning to support the installation of formwork, rebar, concrete, structural steel, architecturalcommodities,andearthworks

• Assure procedural compliancefor work being completed in the field

• Reviewspecifications, purchase orders, subcontracts, inspection reports, delivery schedules, instruction manuals, and technical data toassistand advise on site.

• Oversee, interface, and coordinate with subcontractors and subcontractor work efforts. Assist in the management of subcontract changes.

• Requiredbachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience

• Working knowledgeof ACI 301, 318, 117-10,305R, 306R, CRSI, AISC, RCSC
• Must be physically able to conduct field inspections and participate in project walk-downs which may require the following activities: extensive walking in and around a construction site, climbingladders, climbing scaffolding, usingfall protection and other personal protective equipment (PPE), walking on elevated platforms, walking on uneven surfaces, and maneuvering around very smalland/or confined spaces.
• Demonstrated commitment to Environment, Safety and Health (ES&H). Demonstrated commitment to a Zero Accident safety program.

• An understanding of applicable Bechtel work processes, including Standard Work Process Procedures, is preferred.
• Experience in semiconductorfabricationfacilities is preferred.
• Familiarity with Bechtel Standard Applications (BSAPs), includingTEAMWorks, Aconex, DSCS, Unifier, Agile, Navisworks, and other automation tools used on Bechtel projects.

• Computer literate in word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving ability.
