About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Solar Production Coordinator to support the planning, scheduling, and execution of residential and/or commercial solar projects. This role works closely with project managers, installation crews, permitting teams, utilities, and customers to ensure projects move efficiently from approval through installation and final completion.
Key Responsibilities
  •  Coordinate daily and weekly solar installation schedules 
  •  Track project progress from contract signing through PTO (Permission to Operate) 
  •  Communicate with customers regarding project timelines, appointments, and status updates 
  •  Work with permitting, engineering, and utility companies to ensure required documentation is submitted accurately and on time 
  •  Coordinate materials, equipment deliveries, and subcontractor schedules 
  •  Maintain accurate project records in CRM and project management systems 
  •  Support field crews by resolving scheduling or logistical issues 
  •  Monitor project deadlines and escalate delays or issues proactively 
  •  Assist with production reporting, KPI tracking, and workflow optimization 
  •  Ensure compliance with company standards, safety requirements, and local regulations 
Qualifications
  •  2+ years of experience in solar operations, construction coordination, project coordination, or a related field preferred 
  •  Strong organizational and multitasking skills 
  •  Excellent communication and customer service abilities 
  •  Experience with scheduling software, CRM platforms, or project management tools 
  •  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously 
  •  Knowledge of solar installation processes, permitting, and utility interconnection is a plus 
  •  Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace 
Preferred Skills
  •  Understanding of residential or commercial solar systems 
  •  Familiarity with AHJ permitting and utility PTO processes 
  •  Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail 
  •  Ability to coordinate across multiple departments and vendors
