POSITION SUMMARY

The lift operatoris responsible fororchestrating the safe,efficientand courteous loading and unloading of all guests while riding the ski lift. This involves engaging with and providing a first-class mountain adventure foreach and everyguest, communicating clearly and making quick decisions to ensure safe operation of the ski lift. This is a seasonal position withpart timeand full-time opportunities, paid at $20.00/hr.

Recruitment for this role will be ongoing through December.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Greet and welcome each guest while loading and unloading the ski lift
  • Respond to all guest inquiries in a courteous and friendly manner
  • Follow all lift opening and closing procedures
  • Ensure all safety signs, mats, seat pads, and safety cones are in place, clear, and safe
  • Ability to troubleshoot RFID gates and tablet equipment
  • Keep lift buildings and lift area well maintained
  • Ensure daily signage is up to date and clocks set properly
  • Close and open maze lanes for effective maze operation,assistin maze orchestration
  • Give verbal and non-verbal commands as needed to help guide guests
  • Must be able to make quick decisionsregardinglift speed to ensure guest safety
  • Additionalduties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE,SKILLAND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Reliable transportation to/from work
  • Able to work outside during inclement weather
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Must complete Lift Operation training prior to working
  • Ability to communicate and problem solve effectively
  • Motivated to provide great customer service
  • Previouslift operation experience, preferred

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

This position may berequiredtoworkweekends and holidays.
