Job description

G&M Works Construction Corp. is a rapidly growing site work, hardscape, landscape, concrete, and civil construction contractor. Our projects range from high-end commercial landscapes and rooftop amenity spaces to large-scale site development, concrete, drainage, and infrastructure improvements.

We are seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to oversee field operations, manage crews and subcontractors, maintain project schedules, and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

The Site Superintendent will be responsible for the day-to-day management of multiple construction projects, coordinating labor, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and client communication. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and experienced in site work, concrete, hardscape, and landscape construction.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily field operations on multiple construction projects.
  • Coordinate company crews, subcontractors, suppliers, and deliveries.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and look-ahead plans.
  • Ensure projects are completed according to plans, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Conduct daily site inspections for safety, quality control, and productivity.
  • Monitor labor production and manpower requirements.
  • Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers regarding budgets, schedules, procurement, and change orders.
  • Prepare and submit daily reports, site photos, and manpower reports.
  • Attend owner, architect, and contractor meetings as required.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop solutions before they impact schedule or budget.
  • Enforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
  • Assist with project closeout, punch list completion, and turnover documentation.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in site work, concrete, civil, hardscape, landscape, or heavy construction.
  • Strong knowledge of construction means and methods.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Experience managing multiple crews and subcontractors.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Proficiency with smartphones, tablets, and construction software.
  • 40SST Certification.
  • Knowledge of site utilities, drainage, concrete, hardscape, and landscape installation.
  • Experience working on projects ranging from $500,000 to $10,000,000+.
