About the Role

Cancelled Breaks is seeking an experienced, hands-on Shipping Supervisor to provide assistance to the Shipping Manager and help lead our shipping and fulfillment team in a fast-paced live commerce environment. This position is responsible for supervising Shipping Associates while ensuring orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately, efficiently, and on schedule. The ideal candidate is an organized leader who thrives under pressure, maintains high quality standards, and is passionate about professional sports and collectibles.

This role requires flexibility to support business operations, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs and live streaming schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, coach, and develop a team of Shipping Associates.
  • Lead daily shipping operations to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Monitor employee productivity, quality, and attendance while maintaining accountability.
  • Train new team members on shipping procedures, packing standards, and company policies.
  • Ensure all orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately while meeting established productivity goals.
  • Assist with picking, packing, and shipping during peak production periods.
  • Perform quality control checks to minimize shipping errors and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain organized shipping workstations and inventory staging areas.
  • Coordinate with Inventory, Receiving, Customer Experience, and Streaming departments to resolve order issues.
  • Identify process improvements that increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, shipping procedures, and workplace safety standards.
  • Assist management with scheduling, performance coaching, and disciplinary documentation when necessary.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of professional shipping experience required.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience supervising or leading a shipping team required.
  • Demonstrated experience with order picking and packing in a high-volume environment.
  • Knowledge of shipping procedures, packaging standards, and order accuracy best practices.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Proficient computer skills and the ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive movements throughout the workday.

Required Knowledge

  • Knowledge of professional sports (NFL, NBA, MLB, etc.) or TCGs (Pokemon, One Piece, Etc) is required.
  • Knowledge of sports trading cards and collectibles is preferred.

Schedule Requirements

This position requires a flexible schedule and the ability to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
