POSITION SUMMARY

The primary role of the Security Operations Manager position is to provide a dedicated, onsite presence to support the current and expanding client operations in this specified area. As an onsite DSV Security Manager, this role is critical to addressing the communication flow and projected regional growth. The position ensures that security standards are maintained through direct oversight, acting as a bridge between facility management and client security protocols.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Security Operations Manager will serve as the primary security lead, focusing on operational integrity and vendor accountability. Key functions include serving as a DSV security responder for security-related incidents, maintaining rigorous compliance with CSRM guidelines, and assist DSV management to ensure all operations align with Security Standards  

Responsible Duties 

  1. Conduct regular weekly security audits and compliance checks across all assigned Client facilities within the assigned area. 
  2. Monitor and manage seal discrepancies daily to maintain detailed logs to ensure cargo integrity. 
  3. Perform random security audits of security vendors to verify strict adherence to CSRM guidelines. 
  4. Lead security incident response efforts at facilities to support DSV management and ensure compliance with SWIs and CSRM minimum standards. 

REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

  • 5+ years previous work experience in a similar role/capacity serving large warehouses/distribution centers
  • Multi-Site experience
  • High-risk scenario training
  • Knowledge of MS Office & Google Sheets, intermediate computer skills
  • Knowledge of physical security design
  • Knowledge of scheduling & staffing
  • Working knowledge of security SOP's
  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without an accommodation
  • Ability to spot problems or potential problems and take initiative to correct them.

For this position, the expected base pay range is $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 Annual. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
