ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:

The News department at TelevisaUnivision, is looking for a Production Coordinator to supports the daily operations of the newsroom by coordinating production logistics, schedules, and resources to ensure the smooth execution of live and recorded news programming. This role works closely with producers, editors, reporters, and technical teams to support fast-paced news coverage, including breaking news and special events.

YOUR DAY-DAY:

  • Coordinate daily news production workflows and schedules

  • Support producers in planning and executing newscasts and special coverage

  • Organize scripts, rundowns, and production materials for live broadcasts

  • Coordinate field crews, live shots, and remote/satellite feeds

  • Communicate with reporters, producers, editors, and technical staff

  • Ensure all production deadlines are met in a fast-paced newsroom environment

  • Assist with guest coordination and studio/field logistics

  • Troubleshoot operational issues during live or breaking news coverage

  • Maintain accurate and timely production information across systems

YOU HAVE:

  • Prior experience in news, media production, or live television preferred

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Detail-oriented with strong multitasking abilities

  • Flexible schedule (including evenings, weekends, or breaking news coverage if needed)
