Job description

*1st-ever scheduling hire - this person will oversee all scheduling efforts in the company. Very unique opportunity!

*This person will be developing, monitoring, auditing and updating project schedules for construction activities. Strategic leader of scheduling. Will report to Senior leadership and have opportunity to make a significant impact at an organizational level.

*Candidates required to have previous commercial construction scheduling responsibilities.

*Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC) is preferred. Primavera P6 proficiency also suitable.

*Certification in project scheduling (e.g., PMI-SP) is a plus.

*No work sponsorship available for this position.

*Please note this is a full-time in office position in Austin, Texas. Candidates must reside here or be able to relocate permanently.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Schedule Management
    • Assist in Developing and update construction schedules using Oracle Primavera Cloud or similar tools.
    • Assist in Defining project milestones, deliverables, and task dependencies.
    • Assist in Track progress and adjust schedules to meet project goals.
  • Reporting & Communication
    •  Provide timely status updates and reports to stakeholders.  
    • Conduct schedule review meetings to address risks and align on timelines.  
    • Support senior leadership with monthly project status reports.
  • Risk mitigation
    • Identify schedule risks and develop contingency plans.  
    • Monitor critical paths to prevent potential delays.
  • Training & Support
    • Train team members on scheduling tools and best practices.  
    • Maintain and distribute scheduling documentation.  
    • Provide mentorship to enhance scheduling proficiency within the team.
