Location: This field-based role enables associates to primarily operate in the field, traveling to client sites or designated locations as their role requires, with occasional office attendance for meetings or training. This approach ensures flexibility, responsiveness to client needs, and direct, hands-on engagement. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office.

The CarelonRx Sales Director is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to achieve or exceed total membership and sales goals of Carelon Rx products within their assigned territory.
How you will make an impact:
  • Responsible for sales of large, complex accounts.
  • Serves as a Subject Matter Expert with external constituents to properly convey, position, and message the Carelon Rx solution to brokers and plan sponsors.
  • Leads prospecting activities for new business and proactively calls on brokers and consultants.
  • Serves as a market intelligence leader to assist management with product, pricing and strategic initiatives to better leverage competitive position.
  • Works with the implementation team to ensure seamless transition.
  • Prepares sales pipeline, sales forecasts and other reports.

Minimum Requirements:
Requires a BA/BS and a minimum of 5 years of PBM sales experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
  • MBA preferred.
  • PBM experience strongly preferred.
  • Client facing experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to travel 30-40% preferred.
