We’re looking for a dependable Route Driver to manage assigned service routes delivering, servicing, and maintaining portable sanitation equipment. This role is essential to ensuring our customers receive clean, safe, and reliable sanitation solutions while providing professional, dependable service at every stop.

What You’ll Do

  • Complete assigned service routes according to established schedules.
  • Deliver, remove, relocate, and transport portable restrooms, sinks, trailers, and holding tanks.
  • Clean, sanitize, and maintain portable sanitation equipment to Porta Kleen quality standards.
  • Restock paper products, sanitizer, deodorizer, and other required service supplies.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle and equipment inspections.
  • Identify, document, and report vehicle or equipment maintenance needs promptly.
  • Load, secure, and transport equipment safely to prevent damage or safety hazards.
  • Operate company vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
  • Track hours of service and daily activity using company-issued mobile devices to remain compliant with DOT regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and assigned mobile devices in clean, safe, and working condition.
  • Use company-issued mobile devices to document completed services, routes, and customer information.
  • Maintain accurate service logs, work orders, and required route documentation.
  • Adjust daily schedules as needed to assist team members and complete service routes when operational demands change.
  • Assist with yard organization, equipment staging, and general operational support as needed.

 

What You’ll Need

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (fewer than 8 MVR points) and the ability to obtain and maintain a DOT medical card.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 75–100 pounds repeatedly throughout 8–12 hour shifts.
  • Ability to frequently bend, kneel, climb, and enter or exit trucks multiple times throughout the workday.
  • Ability to adjust daily schedules to assist team members and complete service routes as operational needs change.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and muddy environments.
  • Ability to work around sanitation equipment, industrial noise, and active job site hazards while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Experience towing trailers and safely maneuvering vehicles in tight or congested job sites preferred.
  • Flexibility to work extended shifts, overtime, weekends, and travel between service locations as business needs require.
