PRN RN Field Assessor

We are hiring for a PRN RN Field Assessor to join our passionate team in Lafayette, LA. As a Registered Nurse Field Assessor (FA) you would be completing Long Term Care insurance assessments. These hands-off assessments require you to obtain claimant demographics, physician information, a current medication list, and evaluate the claimant's functional level of independence. The assessment process also involves completing a brief cognitive screening and evaluating the claimant's ability to complete ADL and IADL tasks. The ideal candidate will be technologically savvy and be able to use a point of care web application/system on a laptop or tablet, in real time for documentation purposes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Current and unrestricted RN licensure in the state of practice
  • Current driver's license, vehicle insurance and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation
  • Current CPR certification
  • Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Able to work independently
  • Good communication, writing, and organizational skills

State Specific Requirements:

  • LA: At a minimum, one year of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse. One year of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse may be waived for a Registered Nurse with recent clinical experience as an LPN. RN licensure must have no restrictions
