Position Summary
The Patient Care Technician is an ideal opportunity for those seeking a dynamic and comprehensive role within our health care system. By covering nursing care, transportation of patients, and clerical functions, you will support exceptional patient health outcomes.
In this role you will hone your clerical and communication skills, develop age-appropriate nursing care expertise, and collaborate to support patient care and services.
Responsibilities
  • You will perform a dynamic range of duties and functions throughout the hospital
  • You will assist in basic nursing care, transportation of patients, and clerical functions
  • Apply your strong interpersonal skills when providing care for patients across a diverse spectrum of ethnic and social groups
  • Collaborate with health care practitioner or registered nurse for comprehensive quality care

Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • Medical Assistant-Registered Certification Eligible (Must apply within seven (7) days of hire)
  • Must obtain Medical Assistant-Registered Certification within sixty (60) days of hire
  • Nursing Assistant Certification/Licensure
  • Medical Assistant-Registered Certification Eligible
  • MA-P credential may be accepted in lieu of MA-R
  • Current BLS Certification
  • Recent bed side care experience in a health care environment

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $23.61 - $39.01 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
